Since 2016, Brook has maintained an active presence at the Evolution Championship Series (EVO), the world’s largest fighting game tournament, strengthening its reputation within the fighting game community through the development of low-latency, highly compatible gaming solutions. In 2023, the company introduced its FGC series adapters, allowing players to continue using their preferred controllers and arcade sticks on the PlayStation®5 platform. The series quickly gained recognition among casual players and professional competitors alike.
This year, Brook expanded its visibility in the esports scene by sponsoring Capcom Cup 12, the global championship tournament for Street Fighter 6. The company also earned the “Best Product of 2025” award at EVO for its Wingman series adapters, further underscoring Brook’s growing influence and technical expertise within the competitive gaming industry.
Converters are devices designed to provide compatibility between controllers and gaming peripherals across different platforms and console generations, enabling players to preserve their preferred gameplay experience regardless of system changes. Brook’s Wingman lineup includes a range of widely used models such as the XE2, NS-Lite, and XB3, offering support for gamers across multiple platforms.
For competitive fighting game enthusiasts, Brook recommends the Wingman FGC series—including the FGC2, FGC VX, and FGC Retro—for their stable and responsive performance. General gamers, meanwhile, have gravitated toward the Wingman P5, which supports flexible wireless connectivity with multiple controllers for a seamless gaming experience.
Brook is also preparing to launch its newest adapter, the Wingman P5s, in the U.S. this June. The updated model expands support for both wired and wireless controllers, delivering enhanced flexibility for cross-platform gameplay on systems such as PS5 and NS2.
In addition to its adapter lineup, Brook has unveiled an upgraded controller design, the Brook Fighter Starburst (Metal Edition). Featuring a futuristic cyber-inspired look and a premium black metal frame, the controller reflects the company’s focus on combining performance with distinctive design aesthetics.
