The Highest Accolade in the UK Deep Tech Industry- The Annual Techworks Awards will take place in Manchester for the First Time This Year and are Now Open for Entry

The TechWorks Awards provide a fantastic showcase for excellence in the fast-paced tech industry – celebrating achievements & behaviours conducive to a healthy and vibrant industry. The 2023 awards, taking place in Manchester for the first time. are NOW open with award categories to fit all individuals and organisations active within the tech industry. All awards are completely FREE to enter, with a quick and simple online process.

This year the awards are being hosted by comedian and actor, Alun Cochrane. Previous awards have had high-profile hosts including ‘Dragon’ and Entrepreneur – Piers Linney, Celebrity Broadcaster – John Sergeant, Author – Penny Power OBE and BBC Journalist – Rory Cellan-Jones. Previous winners include McLaren, Nquiringminds and Young Engineer of the Year – Joshua Crook, DIODES.

TechWorks is an industry association at the core of the UK deep tech community with an ambition to harness the country’s fantastic engineering and innovation to develop our position as a global technology super-power. The association was formed in response to changing dynamics in the industry with the ambition to significantly enhance the UK as a leading node in the global technology development ecosystem.

This year will include two special awards, the TechWorks Contribution to Industry Award and the Company of the Year Award. The awards have historically attracted an impressive number of entries showcasing some amazing tech propositions. The 2023 Categories feature a strong range of awards across the industry and include the UKESF Scholar of the Year Award.
