Boycott Your Bed 2026 launches in London as Action for Children calls on businesses to back flagship sleepout

C8 Consulting appointed as PR partner, driving awareness with UK technology media; while C8 Managing Director Paula Elliott joins Boycott Your Bed London Board

Action for Children will officially launch Boycott Your Bed 2026 in London on Wednesday, 24 June, bringing together supporters from across the business and technology communities ahead of the charity’s flagship London sleepout on Friday, 2 October.

Hosted at Sparta Global from 6pm to 8pm, the London launch event will outline the ambition for Boycott Your Bed 2026, give guests the opportunity to hear directly from the campaign team, and encourage more organisations to sign up for one of the UK’s longest‑running corporate fundraising initiatives.

This year’s campaign is being promoted to the UK technology media by C8 Consulting, the disruptive-tech PR agency that has supported the event for several years. C8 has previously taken part in the sleepout, with members of the team spending a night outdoors to raise funds for vulnerable children. The agency’s Managing Director, Paula Elliott, also serves on the Boycott Your Bed London Board, helping to drive momentum behind the campaign.

Now in its 29th year, Boycott Your Bed has raised £14.6 million to help Action for Children provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable children, young people and families across the UK.

The campaign will culminate in the London sleepout on Friday, 2 October, when participants will spend the night outdoors in solidarity with children facing poverty and insecurity. More than 500 people are expected to take part in Boycott Your Bed events across the UK this year, with sleepouts also taking place in Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow.

At a time when 4 million children are living in poverty in the UK, the campaign continues to raise vital funds for services that support families through hardship, crisis and instability.

Katherine Woods, Director of Fundraising at Action for Children, said:

“It’s devastating that 27% of all children in the UK are growing up in poverty. One uncomfortable night might feel like a challenge, but for too many children it’s their everyday reality.

”Some of the biggest companies in London sleep out, making Boycott your Bed a unique networking opportunity, as well as a chance to support some of the most vulnerable children and young people in our society. One night sleeping out can really make a lifetime’s difference for these families.”

Previous participants have included Salesforce, Accenture, Kier Group, Burberry, Dell, C8 Consulting and Lenovo, reflecting the breadth of support the campaign continues to attract across the corporate and technology sectors.
