Appointment underscores commitment to strengthening technology partnerships to deliver full‑service mobility solutions.
Panasonic TOUGHBOOK has appointed Alex Gaffney as its EU Technology Alliances Manager to drive increasingly close relationships with key technology partners in Panasonic’s broad ecosystem. Alex will manage the overarching European vendor partnership strategy for TOUGHBOOK, building relationships with key vendors that empower partners to deliver the best possible service to end users.
Alex’s experience at companies such as Westcoast and Zebra Technologies has enabled him to build strong technology alliance and ecosystem expertise in positions supporting major UK VARs and global vendors. He is well-versed in managing vendor relationships, accelerating customer growth, and forming new alliances that enable rugged mobility solution providers across the supply chain to scale.
Alex reports directly into Chris Turner, Head of Go-to-Market (Europe) at Panasonic TOUGHBOOK.
“Panasonic TOUGHBOOK stands out for its ability to combine rugged devices with market-leading services and solutions that keep frontline teams mission-ready. I’m excited to further strengthen our relationships with best-of-breed technology vendors, helping us empower them with everything they need to deliver exceptional value for customers,” comments Alex Gaffney.
“Alex brings hands-on experience from across the entire mobility ecosystem, from distribution and vendor engagement to partner enablement. This is exactly what our alliances programme needs right now,” adds Chris Turner. “As customers tackle increasingly complex, multi-vendor rollouts, Alex’s focus on deepening our technology relationships will help us integrate faster, reduce deployment risk, and deliver differentiated, end-to-end outcomes for customers across Europe.”
