Discovery Education, the creator of essential learning solutions used in classrooms around the world, today announced that it is offering free access to its digital DoodleLearning programmes for Year 6 pupils.
Available from now until the end of May 2026, the no-obligation access – available to schools not currently subscribing to DoodleLearning – will support teachers to prepare pupils for SATs, GPS and 11+ exams, by creating personalised learning programmes for every child.
Part of the Discovery Education family of services, DoodleLearning’s four award-winning digital maths and English programmes – DoodleMaths, DoodleTables, DoodleEnglish and DoodleSpell – are trusted by 10,000+ teachers and more than 1,000,000 students in the UK. Key features of these services include:
- Personalisation Through Adaptation: Designed to boost pupil confidence, Doodle adapts to individual learning needs and requires as little as 10 minutes a day, automatically revisiting content and consolidating knowledge, making it ideal for topping up before SATs.
- Ease of Assessment: Doodle also reduces teacher workload by setting and marking work automatically. A built-in Baseline Assessment tool identifies and plugs individual learning gaps while a Teacher Dashboard tracks progress and provides easily exportable data to inform teaching and interventions.
- Supports Diverse Learning Styles: By offering a variety of question types, visual aids, and audio support, DoodleLearning caters to different learner preferences, helping every student find their path to understanding.
- Curriculum-Aligned Content: Doodle is fully aligned to the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, ensuring children practice everything they need to succeed in their SATs. And because the apps make learning fun, they reduce anxiety and help every child to feel positive about their learning.
Charity Lisko, Discovery Education’s Vice President for International Product, Curriculum and Content, said,
“We’re excited to give primary schools free Year 6 access to our award-winning Doodle programmes, to support educators and help pupils get ready for SATs. Filled with fun exercises and designed by our team of educators, Doodle boosts skills and confidence and saves teachers valuable time.”
