Securonix and OWN Partner to Help European Organisations Transform Threat Intelligence Into Faster Security Decisions

Strategic partnership combines Securonix ThreatQ with OWN’s cyber intelligence, CERT, and SOC expertise to strengthen threat anticipation, investigation, and response across France and Europe

Securonix, Inc., a six-time Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for SIEM, has announced a strategic partnership with OWN, a French cybersecurity company specialising in cyber threat intelligence, incident response, detection, and advisory services. The partnership combines the Securonix ThreatQ threat intelligence platform with OWN’s multidisciplinary intelligence and operational security expertise to help organisations across France and Europe better prioritise threats and make informed security decisions.

Large organisations have access to an expanding volume of intelligence from commercial feeds, open-source research, industry sharing communities, and their own security telemetry. Turning those sources into useful intelligence requires security teams to determine which threats are relevant to their environment, understand the context behind them, and connect that analysis with investigation and response.

Securonix ThreatQ provides the technology foundation for managing that process at scale. OWN brings analysts, incident responders, and SOC expertise that help customers interpret intelligence within the context of their organisation and apply it to security operations.

“Threat intelligence has to support decisions analysts can act on,” said Cyrille Badeau, Vice President, EMEA at Securonix. “By pairing ThreatQ with OWN’s intelligence, CERT, and SOC expertise, customers can bring external threat information together with operational context, prioritise the threats most relevant to their environment, and put that intelligence to work across detection, investigation, and response.”

Connecting Threat Intelligence and Security Operations

ThreatQ aggregates internal and external threat data through its DataLinq engine and enables security teams to standardise, contextualise, and prioritise intelligence using the Threat Library and Smart Collections. ThreatQ Investigations supports analyst triage and research, while integrations with technologies including SIEM, SOAR, and EDR help organisations incorporate intelligence into their existing security workflows.

OWN complements the platform with specialists across geopolitics, cybercrime, open-source intelligence, disinformation, digital forensics, and adversarial infrastructure analysis.

OWN’s intelligence capabilities are also connected to its CERT and SOC operations. Findings from security incidents, investigations, and monitoring activities can inform ongoing intelligence analysis, giving customers additional context based on observed attacker behaviour and operational experience.Together, Securonix and OWN can help security teams collect and organise intelligence, assess its relevance, investigate potential threats, and distribute findings to the people and security technologies responsible for taking action.

“Our clients have no shortage of data. They need to turn that data into decisions. ThreatQ streamlines the collection, correlation, production, and dissemination of intelligence; our analysts and our CERT provide the context, expertise, and judgment. It is this combination of technology and human intelligence that creates value and makes it difficult to replicate,” said Abdoulaye Fadiga, CEO of OWN.

Flexible Threat Intelligence Operations

The partnership gives organisations flexibility in how they deploy and operate ThreatQ. Customers can license and manage the platform internally or engage OWN to provide operational support and managed expertise.

Organisations can expand or adjust that level of support as their internal capabilities, threat environment, and operating requirements change while continuing to use the same underlying ThreatQ platform.

For enterprises building more mature threat intelligence programs, the combination provides access to the technology required to manage intelligence at scale alongside analysts who can apply geopolitical, technical, investigative, and incident-response context to the threats facing the organisation.
