AI- The New Team Member – Morningmate Moves Beyond Collaboration with New AI-Powered Work Management Platform

London; Repattern AI is set to revolutionise work management, along with two new products, Wiki and Drive, from Morningmate, the lightweight digital workspace designed to help teams organise everyday work and stay on track.

This major tech launch by Morningmate, now transforms the digital workspace platform from a collaboration platform into an AI work management platform; a single environment where a team’s projects, documents, calendars and files are all live, and where AI runs on top of every one of them. Essentially, AI becomes a team member.

Repattern AI is redefining how businesses connect and collaborate, taking the habits, we work by without thinking, to redefining them with AI. Repattern AI comes included in the basic plan of Morningmate, no add-ons. Every customer gets AI support from day one.

Morningmate was built to keep work and its context in the same place. Projects, tasks and schedules sit alongside business chat, so the conversation about a piece of work lives next to the work itself. With this release, Wiki adds documents and Drive adds files, so a team’s decisions and deliverables no longer sit outside the platform where the work happens.

The team behind Morningmate has been building that workspace for more than ten years, and more than 440,000 teams across 141 countries now run their work on it. For a customer that means years of accumulated projects, decisions and conversations, none of which AI could reach- until now.

“Industries have advanced and new tools keep arriving, and yet the share of our time spent on the work that surrounds the actual work has not fallen at all,” said June Lee, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Morningmate. “Companies are accumulating enormous amounts of data, and most of it sits dormant, never turned into value. AI has not changed that, because it knows everything about the world and nothing about your work.”

Lee continues; “The gap was never the model. It was access. Repattern AI runs inside Morningmate and reads all the data a team has accumulated there, and with Wiki and Drive, documents and files now fall within that range as well. Answering from a company’s own work rather than from general knowledge is what separates AI work management from an assistant, and it is what turns Morningmate from a place where people work with each other into one where people work alongside an AI that knows the work itself.”

How Repattern AI works

The clearest example is how work gets handed off. A team member names AI as the assignee on a task, exactly as they would name a colleague. Repattern AI reads the request against the project it belongs to, moves the task to In Progress, and posts its result as a comment on that task, where it stays visible and attributable to the whole team rather than buried in a private chat history.

Elsewhere in the workspace, Smart Search answers from the team’s own posts, tasks and documents rather than from general knowledge. A writing assistant restructures, proofreads, summarises and translates a document in place, and new tasks can be created from inside a post, comment or chat.

Morningmate connects outward as well. A Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint lets teams reach their Morningmate data from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor, scoped to each user’s existing permissions, and an open API covers further integrations. Repattern AI currently runs on eleven language models.

Personal data and credentials are detected and masked before a request reaches a model, and a company’s data is not used to train the underlying models. Administrators can review AI usage across the organisation, set policy and manage spend from a single console.

“In a few years, the companies getting real value out of AI won’t be the ones with the best models. Everyone will have the same models,” said Lee. “It will be the ones whose work is in a shape AI can actually use. That is what we are building, and it is why we started with the work rather than with the AI.”
