The National Space Centre is swapping moon boots for cowboy boots on Saturday 10 October 2026, when Cosmic Country transforms one of the UK’s most distinctive visitor attractions into an adults-only slice of Nashville for the night.
The latest in the Centre’s growing series of Cosmic nights, Cosmic Country, will see visitors dancing beneath towering rockets and historic spacecraft as live foot tapping, rooting and a tooting country music takes over the galleries after dark.
From Dolly Parton classics to contemporary country hits from the likes of Luke Combs, a live Country and Western band will provide a boot-stomping soundtrack to an evening that combines country music, American food, themed drinks, hard shakes, moonshine and a bucking bronco with after-hours access to the National Space Centre. There’s even line dancing!
Guests are encouraged to fully embrace the theme with wardrobe choices; Stetsons are very much welcome to the Cosmic Country experience.
Malika Andress, Head of Marketing at the National Space Centre said: “There aren’t many places where you can listen to live country music with rockets towering above you, and that’s what makes Cosmic Country such a brilliant night.
“Our Cosmic events are about showing another side to the National Space Centre. Once the doors close for the day, the galleries become an incredible setting for live music and entertainment.

Cosmic Country Night takes place at the National Space Centre on Saturday 10 October 2026, from 20:00 until midnight, exclusively for guests aged 18 and over, with standard tickets costing £27.50—including a welcome drink—and bucking bronco rides available for an additional £5.
