Corlytics appoints Rash Phullar and Gaspard Biosse Duplan to accelerate non-financial risk management expansion

Double senior hire signals Corlytics’ next phase of expansion — bringing world-class expertise in non-financial risk to tackle the most complex and costly unsolved challenge in financial services

Verdane-backed Corlytics, the global leader in regulatory intelligence and non-financial risk management, has appointed Rash Phullar as Chief Strategic Growth Officer and Gaspard Biosse Duplan as Head of Non-Financial Risk Solutions.

The appointments are the latest milestone in Corlytics’ growth story, following the appointment of Lisa Miles-Heal as Chief Executive Officer in early June of this year. Phullar joins the Corlytics leadership team to drive the commercial growth

and product development of its AI-powered non-financial risk management (NFRM) solutions — built in close collaboration with some of the world’s largest financial institutions to solve the most costly and fragmented challenge in financial

Services.

The appointments

Rash Phullar joins as Chief Strategic Growth Officer, responsible for identifying new product capabilities, markets and distribution models to drive Corlytics’ global growth ambitions. With deep experience across financial services, regulatory

technology and the risk and controls space, Phullar will lead efforts to translate Corlytics’ decade of proprietary data and AI investment into practical, client-centric solutions that work at the scale and complexity tier one institutions actually operate at.

“Non-financial risk has been under-served by technology and data for too long. The tools banks rely on today are manual, fragmented and built for a world that no longer exists. Corlytics has spent a decade building the data, the technology and

the models required to change that — and now has the team, the platform and the deep client relationships to deliver that change at scale. My role is to make sure we translate all of that into practical solutions that solve the hardest

problems in the industry.” states Rash Phullar.

Gaspard Biosse Duplan joins as Head of Non-Financial Risk Solutions, leading the build-out of Corlytics’ NFRM product suite. Biosse Duplan brings deep expertise in risk management and financial technology, and will oversee the development

of AI-first solutions designed for tier one, multi-jurisdictional institutions where the complexity of managing non-financial risk is greatest. “The variety, complexity and impact of non-financial risks keep rising — creating a significant challenge

for banks, but also a clear competitive edge for those that harness the right data and technology. Corlytics gives institutions the quantified risk intelligence they need to grow confidently and compete strategically,” states Gaspard Biosse Duplan.

“Rash and Gaspard join us at exactly the right moment. We have spent a decade building something genuinely different — a data model and AI capability that the broader regulated community has not seen before. What excites me most is the

speed at which we can now move.

The platform is mature, the models are proven, and the market is ready. Bringing in leaders of this calibre means we can accelerate our presence across the full regulated ecosystem — not just the tier one banks we already serve, but the insurers,

set managers and market infrastructure firms who face the same structural challenges and deserve the same quality of solution,” states John Byrne, Founder and Head of Product & Technology.

“Rash and Gaspard bring exactly the combination of market credibility and practical expertise that this next phase of Corlytics’ growth demands. Non-financial risk management is one of the most significant unsolved challenges in financial

services, and we are strongly positioned to lead the solution — with proprietary data, proven AI capabilities and a product approach shaped directly by the clients who face these problems every day. These appointments are a clear expression of

our ambition and our ability to deliver on it,” states Lisa Miles-Heal, CEO of Corlytics.

The next phase of non-financial risk management

Non-financial risk — spanning multiple risks including conduct, compliance, operational, cyber and AI-related risk — is firmly established as a strategic imperative and one of the largest structurally under-solved cost burdens in banking. The

complexity, variety and cost of getting it wrong keep rising. Tier one, multi-jurisdictional institutions have long been forced to rely on infrequent, people-led assessments that do not reflect the true scale or nature of their exposure, managing

NFRM through spreadsheets, siloed tools and manually assembled data — making decisions from opinion rather than trusted evidence. Regulators, investors and civil society demand ever-greater transparency and proactive governance. The gap

between expectation and operational reality has never been wider.

Corlytics has long anticipated this inflection point. While others are responding to regulatory pressure, Corlytics has spent a decade building the proprietary data model, AI infrastructure and client relationships to be ready ahead of it — working

at both ends of the financial services value chain, alongside regulators and the world’s largest banks. Corlytics’ integrated NFRM platform addresses this directly. An AI mapping engine unifies core risk data — regulations, risks, policies and

controls — in a single trusted data model: one source of truth for the entire NFRM ecosystem.

Corlytics connects what regulators require, what policies say and what controls do, and keeps those connections live rather than static. An ensemble of AI models built and iterated over a decade delivers high accuracy and full explainability, with

ISO certification providing the auditability that regulated institutions demand. The methodology is quantitative and forward-looking — enabling institutions to move from reactive compliance to confident, evidenced decision-making. One

platform. A myriad of use cases: regulatory traceability, risk quantification, RCSA automation, control completeness and trading venue governance.

Corlytics’ trusted position across the value chain — working with both regulators and tier one banks globally — gives the business direct access to the hardest problems in the market and a product roadmap shaped by those best placed to define

what good looks like. The next wave of AI capability is already amplifying the speed and precision of Corlytics’ models. The pipeline of innovation is significant, the market opportunity is substantial, and this is not the end of the platform story —

it is the start of its next chapter. This isn’t just about avoiding penalties. It’s about knowing your risk so organisations can grow with confidence and compete strategically.
